I am selling my 1938 BSA Empire Star M23 project. 500cc. The bike has matching numbers as confirmed by the copy of the period registration papers accompanying the bike.
When you look at the bike, it is obvious that it has never been taken apart. This is a healthy project.
The engine turns over freely and smoothly. There is light surface rust on the chassis parts. All bolts and nuts are in good shape and have not been bodged, no broken fins on cylinder or cylinder head, even the brakes can be activated freely. A complete clutch is also included.
The Empire Star was stored for many years in a garage, hence why it is so untouched and relatively complete with many of the hard to find parts there.
