VW T2 Westfalia
This 1977 Westfalia was imported from Germany in 2003 and has had 3 owners since then .
It has done 172, 000 miles or 276, 000km with a superb history file and all the original westfalia handbooks.
The present owner has had it since july 2006 ,
since then it hasn't done many miles but has been subject to a rolling restoration.
In 2006 it had a new 2. 0 litre engine on twin carbs and all new or refurbished ancillary's.
The forward lifting pop up roof was also replaced at the time.
Then in 2017 it underwent a £9000 body restoration by Panelkraft in Arlesey beds to bring it up to show standard.
At the same time it had a new headlining, the wheels were refurbished and it was put back together with all new rubber seals etc.
The only jobs left are a bit of tidying and personalisation of the interior, included is some of the original
tartan material to repair the drivers seat with .
All the hard work is now done and it is ready to enjoy this summer.
