1969, finished in British racing green with black piped red interior. This original UK R. H. D model was built on August 5th 1969 and was dispatched to the first owner by Arnold Clarks West End Motors, Glasgow on August 15th 1969.
The car remained in the UK for only a short part of its life until 1978 when it made way to continental Europe. In later years the car found itself being part of a large collection of Jaguars belonging to a gentleman in the Netherlands until returning to its motherland this year.
Externally the car is excellent with superb panel gaps and door fit, it is clear that at some point there has been a body restoration where the car received a new bonnet. The interior exudes originality and patina and in my opinion wants for nothing but to be enjoyed. The only thing that deviates from the originality of the car is that at some point the car has received a replacement engine block.
In all an excellent car that you will not be afraid to drive while still remaining proud of its appearance. Currently being UK registered but available to view immediately at a more than competitive price.
