Very smart MG B Roadster.
This beauty was first registered to a Mr C S Kerr, on 1st September, 1978, and supplied by Page and Scott of Colchester. The fascinating history file contains the original British Leyland service book, handbooks, and even a typed letter congratulating the new owner on their choice of vehicle. It also bears witness to many years of regular maintenance.
By the early 1990’s the car was due structural and mechanical overhaul, and again, a comprehensive overhaul is well documented. More recently, the car has benefitted from a full leather retrim, and new hood.
Prior to the most recent owner, from whom we purchased the car, it appears to have had little use. He tells us that he bought the car from long term storage, and re commissioned the car. This included a full and comprehensive service, water pump, brake overhaul, carb strip and tune, etc, etc. We can confirm that the car drives as good as it looks, and is testament to the restorers skills back in 1995.
The car stars easily, hot or cold, and performs well out on the open road. Clutch action is light, and the overdrive gearbox operates crisply. Brakes are sharp, and she handles well on a set of matching tyres. Simply ready to go. She’ll be supplied with fresh oil service, and balance of MOT.
