The Appeal

The MGC GT is one of the more coveted variants in the MG lineage. Produced for just two model years between 1967 and 1969, it paired the elegant fastback GT body with a 2,912cc straight-six engine, offering a more refined and powerful grand touring experience compared to its four-cylinder MGB sibling. Fewer than 4,500 MGC GTs were built, making survivors increasingly sought after.

This 1969 example has been in its current keeper's hands since October 2019 and has benefited from improvement works carried out by Bowron Motorcare, including a differential rebuild. The vendor reports the paintwork to be in very good condition, and the car has been undersealed. Inside, the cabin has been refreshed with new leather seats front and rear, new inertia seat belts, a refurbished dashboard face in the original crackle finish, and a new dashboard top covering. Kept in dry storage during the current ownership, this MGC GT holds a voluntary advisory-free MOT valid until May 2027.
