1967 Mercury Cougar XR7
This week we have a distinct muscle car of the late 60's, a mean looking Cougar XR7 with A 230hp 302cu (4. 9L) V8 Motor. This beauty was picked and imported by us in California and she only arrived on Tuesday. With some minor paintwork and some TLC to the interior this could be a nice rat rod/ street burner and a great long term investment. These are quickly becoming harder to find in this condition and are becoming more popular this side of the pond. The body panels & chassis are nice and solid, we have found a few pin holes to the front passenger side floor pan that could do with a weld, but that's it. The engine starts right up and she runs really great and runs through the gears nicely. The previous owner has recently replaced the coil, starter motor, Accel Points Eliminator along with a new Holley Carburettor amongst other things. The XR7 comes with disc brakes and power steering as standard. We always recommend you pop down to us and have a look to see the cars for yourself & take a spin around our yard, as although this car looks fantastic in the photos she does need some work and is not in showroom condition.. She's perfect to use "as is" or as a rolling project.
