Description
I have changed the advert to Offers for my 1954 MG TF, a low mileage and restored UK RHD car, in exceptional condition, this is because I really could do with the space.
First registered in London, OXX 882 retains its original registration number, engine and gearbox.
From the old MOTs and receipts, we are led to believe that the current mileage of 14, 253 miles, may be the mileage from new?
The car has been conserved over its lifetime while used regularly at the same time. As such, it presents immaculately while retaining its original character.
Thought by many, myself included, to be the prettiest of the `T` types, this TF has wire wheels, Brookland’s aero screens, stainless steel luggage rack, twin spot lights, wing mirrors, discreet indicators, hardly used tyres and four Club Badges. The hood, side screens and tonneau are in excellent condition, as is the leather upholstery.
A leather album, compiled by the previous owner, includes the known history of the car. This includes an old Log Book from 1963, T-Register confirmation sheets, all MOT certificates from 1980 to date, old Tax Discs, TF Brochures, old receipts etc. plus lots of photos of the restoration as it progressed.
This car is in what can only be described as in exceptional condition and I feel sure that you will not find a better example. It is open for any inspection at my home in Nottingham
The last advert photo shows the car, proudly on display in the courtyard of Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire. The display was part of this year’s Vintage Speed Trials.
I look forward to hearing from you to discuss the TF or arrange viewing.
