This stunning car is in the popular Lagoon Blue with a silver roof. There is no microblistering of the paint anywhere on the car. It also has the benefit of a Lotus replacement chassis, new stainless steel sill members and seat belt mounting plates fitted this year and a Lotus five speed gearbox rebuilt last year by Alan Voigt, new three piece clutch kit fitted at the same time. Big valve cylinder head. Along with five new Blockley 165 x 13 tyres and a refurbished spare wheel, much time has been spent returning this special car to its current condition. MOT expiry August 2024.
This also includes new engine bay and dashboard wiring looms recently fitted by a Lotus specialist along with a new dashboard. It has the original colour oatmeal leathercloth interior. Polyurethane suspension bushes were fitted in 2021 along with new dampers and springs all round, plus a CV driveshaft conversion and a 123 electronic distributor. The car has just been checked over by a Lotus specialist and given a clean bill of health. The car spent some years in Greece and was imported back to the UK in 2021.
