2008 FORD CROWN VICTORIA POLICE INTERCEPTOR

HISTORY:
This car started its life in Tennessee as a police car for Decatur County. Sadly, it did not see much hard action and spent a lot of its life touring local schools.
After this it was bought by the local fire department and just used as a run-around.
This is until my friend Jim was in the area looking for a car to take him on his travels around the States. A deal was done and over the next few weeks he fell so in love with the car he shipped it back to the UK.
The bodywork was redone in a style fitting to an ex-cop car, yet still keeping it legal for UK road.
MY OWNERSHIP:
I bought the car from Jim at the start of 2023. I just fancied it.
I fitted the roof lights with the controls in the boot. This keeps the car perfectly street legal... provided you leave the remote control for the roof lights at home.
Whilst I have been fortunate enough to drive all sorts of cars, this thing turns more heads than any Ferrari and I cannot take it anywhere without people wanting to ask questions or just tell me how much they love it.
It would probably very easily earn its keep doing film/ TV/ music video work but that's not something I've ever done with any of my own cars.
