The best e28 you could get at first release was the 528 Bmw hadn?t released the 535 version of the e28 at the time so twr would do conversions anything from as little as a engine and handling package or extra options of wheels, brakes, seats, body kits and alpina parts as they were originally the ones that had the licence to import and sell alpina parts before sytner/ alpina was started in the Uk and brought out twr?s Bmw tuning devision along with the remaining cars that were being built plus they commissioned another couple to built as full Uk ?alpina? cars whilst they set up the sytner workshops.
I only know of one other twr car for sale (for 50k!!) and they want over quadruple the asking price of this car but then that?s one of the twr/ alpina spec change over cars built for sytners
Please no time wasters, tyre kickers, dreamers or people wanting to just chat about who/ what twr is was please look up on Google who twr were and there huge racing success and car developments they achieved over the years, Mazda, Bmw, rover, some crazy jaguars, the silk cut 24 hour Le Mans car, Porsche race car, Renault Clio v6 wide body and many more cars and projects.
As I?ve had so many questions. Yes this is a running driving usable tax, mot and ulez expempt car. Goes well as a 3. 5 should engine runs and sounds smooth. I have owned the car since 2019 and done very little Mileage in it as it?s just been stored inside with my other cars Which are used more frequently so I?m letting the e28 twr go to someone who can get more use out of it than me. Everyone has commented that this car is way to cheap for what it truly is but yet no one has bought it as it just seems like the markets just full of dreamers that couldn?t afford it even though it?s cheap
