Description
The Evo IX I have for sale is the genuine MR FQ-360, the most potent example, fettled by Mitsubishi?s Ralliart performance division and legendary tuning firm HKS. With 366bhp on-tap, it will accelerate from 0-62 in 3. 9 seconds, and go on to a top speed of 160mph. With aerodynamic upgrades to keep the car stuck to the tarmac, including a carbon fibre front lip, as well as its rally-style four-wheel drive system and active yaw control, the car is equally as special in the corners, too.
The MR FQ-360 also receives Bilstein monotube shocks and a Ralliart sports meter kit. Visual upgrades to the MR FQ-360 include a large bonnet vent and 17-inch Speedline alloy wheels, as well as the afore mentioned aero upgrades. The MR is distinctive for its red-badging and stitching, as well as the iconic HKS logo on the tailgate.
Fitted with the IX MR seats and very little wear on the usual bolsters the seats really are comfortable to sit in. The underside has always been maintained and coated in clear waxoyl showing the vehicle is pristine and has nothing to hide.
As you would expect with a vehicle like this it has very comprehensive service portfolio including many receipts and previous MOT certificates.
The Engine Bay itself is very clean and presents itself very well with the rest of the car. Just a few subtle modifications which include an HKS air filter and HKS dump valve really shows how amazing this car sounds.
Only 200 of the IX MR FQ360 were produced (source from Mitsubishi) with only 64 showing up on record in the UK as per (how many left) this modern classic is one of the most sought after Evos on the market behind the Tommi Makinen. This will make a great car for any collector looking to build their portfolio with a future classic they can still use.
This vehicle has been dry stored for several years by the current owner and used very seldom during the nice summer days. .
