Description
This 1978 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing is exceptionally original and a very lovely example; it does have some light pitting on some of the chrome work and most noticeably some chrome lifting off the offside rocker cover; clearly as it is unrestored it also has the odd small mark and chip here and there but it is a remarkable survivor being and import from a warmer climate in the US; Once fully warmed it runs and rides very well indeed and really is a joy to ride which I can attest to having ridden it around 200 miles when it performed perfectly with no noticeable faults; it is super smooth and very lively when hurried belying its size; it has its toolkit and handbook in the tank locker; It was subject to a significant amount of re-commissioning work by it previous owner which is probably why it rides so well; 45, 000 miles recorded which is likely to be correct but cannot be verified.
