Lovely 1972 P6 V8 automatic.
Tobacco Leaf brown complimented by brown vinyl roof and sills .
As can be seen in the photos excellent condition for a 53 year old car with just a few imperfections that I’ve tried to show .
Chrome work and bright work excellent all round , carpets and trim excellent.
I’ve owned this car for around 18 months as I’d hankered after another having owned a similar car back in my youth , it absolutely did not disappoint but new business venture means I need to downsize my collection.
Since purchasing I have fitted an electric fuel pump , rebuilt the carbs , serviced the engine, refurbished the fuel tank , rebuilt the rear brake calipers ( handbrake works perfectly) and enjoyed every minute of owning her ! .
Starts first time and runs well , has a full stainless exhaust system which sounds lovely without being noisy .
She comes with the mini lite alloys shown in the photos with matching tyres in excellent condition.
Also comes with the motalita wood steering wheel which really suits the car ( I don’t have the original but do have a 3500s leather wheel that I can give ).
A really nice car to cruise around in with the V8 , auto transmission and power steering. I’ve done quite a few shows this year and she always proves very popular.
Ready to polish and enjoy !
There are a few niggles as with any 50 plus year old car which I’ll list here .
1) Choke cable works but doesn’t want to stay where you put it ! ( I just hold it until it’s no longer needed )
2) couple of small holes in the seat covers as per pics
3) small dent above drivers side front wheel ( as per pics)
Bound to be other minor things along the way but she is a genuinely lovely car .
