Make no mistake, this is a special competition E-Type.
Not because it has the most powerful engine or has had many podiums.
No, because it is as honest as it is beautiful.

Line up 10 similar E-Types and get petrolheads to vote. This car would win hands down. It has a ‘je ne sais quoi’ that turns heads.

But it is no slowcoach however. For example, the car was privileged to compete at the Goodwood Revival Fordwater Trophy all E-Type race piloted by owner and Tiff Needell. It finished a healthy 8th overall in a field of 30, in front of many semi lightweight cars. Tiff said at the end. “This car handles perfectly’

Meticulously constructed from a correct 1962 donor car and built to FIA Class GTS12 and first raced in 2008. As with all of owners’s race cars it is fastidiously correct in specification and authenticity.
Built from scratch by Andrew Tart, Jaguar expert and the founder of the original CMC Bridgnorth.
Andrew is recognised throughout the industry as a quality builder of engines that are fast and ultra reliable.
Painted in Pastel Green (a Jaguar colour but not available for the E-type) which sets off the beautiful curves and dominant stance into something exotic, simply perfect, that so many observers have drooled over. This car in this colour will confirm to anybody why Enzo’s described the E-Type as “the most beautiful car in the world”
4861 KX has not been heavily campaigned by a manic pilot and so requiring constant rebuilds ’. It has more been ‘enjoyed’ at all the main UK circuits and also race tracks across Europe. Notably at Le Mans Classic in 2016 in the Jaguar invitation race the car recorded a speed of 152. 5 mph on the Mulsanne straight and achieved 18th (ignoring the pit lane penalty) in a field of 63!
Also Spa, Portimao Etc

STOP PRESS!

2026 will see a tightening of the authenticity regulations. Goodwood, the relaunched MRL, Masters series and Peter Auto at least, are jointly reviewing eligibility control .
A HUGE advantage of this car is that it its already compliant to the original pure specifications. No hidden upgrades, no fancy hi tech attachments. Where others will be obliged to reverse engineer their cars this car is a sound basis for immediate compliance and up front racing.
