1971 Jaguar e-type Series 3 2plus2.
Engine is a 5. 3 litre V12.
This is a very original and matching numbers car (engine/ transmission/ body) confirmed by the Jaguar Heritage Archive.
This e-type was Distributed by University Motors in Kingston-Upon-Thames to the original Dealer Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton, Surrey in October 1971.
Maintained annually including an MOT (even though it is exempt). Currently almost 55 years old, only five previous owners. I have owned it for over 13 of those years with less than 58, 000 original miles recorded on it.
Jaguar factory original colour scheme of light blue exterior with dark blue leather interior. It has Power Assisted Steering and retains the additional factory fitted options of Triplex Sundym Tinted Glass, Chrome Wire Wheels with Michelin XWX tyres, 3 Speed Automatic Transmission, Heated Rear Window, Front Inertia Reel Seatbelts, and radio, speakers with pull up aerial. In addition it also benefits from electric fan override switch control fitted and town & country horns fitted.
Multiple show winning car in its true as original form, never pulled apart which shows in the panel & trim fit.
Two sets of keys, It also retains the original spare ignition key supplied at the factory and still secured, unused, in the vehicle.
A genuine example that has stood the tests of time very well. These vehicles are very hard to find now in as original condition.
The history file on this car is extensive and included in the sale along with its service pack and manual.
