History: Presented as Mercedes' technological laboratory, the SL range is one of the German manufacturer's most accomplished versions, incorporating all the technology possible at the time of its launch.
It was in 1989 that the Mercedes SL (R129) was presented to the general public with an all-new design, high-performance engines and innovations designed to enhance the luxurious and sporting experience it could offer its driver.
The SL 320 version on offer here opts for a new 220bhp 3-valve V6 engine that is more robust and more reliable in the event of a frontal impact. However, other modifications have also been made to this particular model, such as: New oval tailpipes Exterior mirrors in SLK design Redesigned rear lights Door handles and body accessories painted in body colour Revised and larger front axle brake system, newly designed five-hole alloy wheels and 245/ 45 ZR 17 tyres. The car we're offering: Delivered new in Italy on 17/ 11/ 1998, this SL 320 was imported into France in the mid-2000s. Delivered with its Hard Top, service invoices, original radio and speakers, this Mercedes nevertheless has a few body defects despite its very good overall condition. Its soft top is perfectly waterproof, the wheels are in excellent condition and the interior leather is in good condition despite the slight age wrinkles, as the photos will testify. It's also worth pointing out that a Bluetooth car radio and Pioneer speakers have been fitted to maximise the experience for its crew.
