Our example, dated November 1995, belongs to a period when the Mini benefited from notable evolutions: more modern equipment, higher build quality, and the generalisation of injection on the Cooper versions, bringing greater reliability as well as a better driving experience.
This Cooper stands out with a desirable configuration, combining electric sunroof, leather interior and the 1300cc engine, an array of options that make this a particularly sought-after specimen.
The example we are offering has had the same owner for 13 years, who has taken great care of it as evidenced by its overall condition and the substantial file of invoices accompanying the car.
Mechanically the car starts easily and runs smoothly and responsively. The cylinder head benefited from resurfacing with complete inspection and restoration of the top-end seal a few years ago.
The cooling system has been made reliable with the replacement of the radiator, high-flow water pump, and the heater control valve.
Electrical side, the alternator and the ground strap have been replaced recently.
The gearbox offers precise guidance and smooth gear changes. A short shifter has been installed, enhancing the sporty aspect and precision of control, while the clutch, recently replaced, perfectly performs its role.
Regarding the running gear, the steering is precise and shows no play. The steering rack, tie-rod ends, and pivot ball joints were replaced in 2020.
The front suspension has been improved; it is adjustable and contributes to precise and effective road behaviour.
The braking is efficient and balanced.
As for the suspensions, they perform their job perfectly. The car is equipped with adjustable suspensions as well as adjustable shock absorbers, allowing fine tuning of road handling between comfort and sportiness.
The Minilight wheels look good and fully contribute to the look of this Mini.
The paintwork on this Mini looks very good, with a beautiful overall shine.
The underbody is healthy and shows no corrosion.
All exterior chrome and trim are in good overall condition.
The black leather upholstery is very well preserved, with no tears or snags. The cabin is enhanced by a piano black dashboard finish and new aluminium handles and pedals add a sporty touch.
The fabric of the sunroof is in excellent condition, and the electric opening works perfectly.
The boot lining has just been renewed for sale.
The onboard instrumentation is functional.
Given the overall condition, the model configuration, and the numerous recent expenditures, we are asking €15, 990. Trade-ins and exchanges considered.
