The Daimler nameplate has long been synonymous with the absolute highest quality Jaguars, designed to be true gentleman's automobiles with a little bit more panache than the average model. Certainly Jaguar’s are excellent in their own right but a Daimler does a wonderful job of turning everything up to 11.
Possibly one of the most esteemed models to have the Daimler badge bestowed upon it is the legendary Double Six. Based on the XJ platform, the Six has long been seen as the pinnacle of executive saloons and stands as a wonderfully lavish, four wheeled slice of Old England.
This 1990 Double Six originally hails from the roads of Japan where it has spent the bulk of its life before arriving, exceptionally well preserved, on the shores of the UK around seven years ago. Presented in great overall mechanical and aesthetic order it is certainly one of the better of the limited number of examples on the market today and lends itself well to become part of a prestigious collection or for use as an executive day to day runner.

The Double Six has always seemed to be a well appreciated classic as it has so greatly deserved. Well styled, well equipped and genuinely usable, it's a truly great model which with its Daimler nameplates on, is something very special indeed.
Increasingly rare, Daimler Double Sixes seldom come to market, especially ones of this calibre.
