Opis

An exceptional, unrestored survivor

We are delighted to offer this incredible “time-warp” example for sale. Oozing authentic patina, this highly collectible vehicle is a true reference car, representing exactly how it would have rolled off the Stuttgart assembly line. Aside from minor historic paint touch-ups on the front valance, the car remains beautifully preserved in its factory state and must be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

Provenance & History
Originally delivered to New York and first registered in January 1970, this Porsche 911T is an outstanding, unrestored survivor that has seen remarkably light use from new. While early documentation is sparse, the car’s exceptional originality, solid structure, and low mileage strongly point to careful, long-term stewardship during its first two decades in the United States.

The current owner personally imported the car into the UK in November 2015, with all UK taxes and duties fully paid.

Maintenance & Condition
Since arriving in the UK in 2015, this 911T has been maintained exclusively by renowned specialists Jaz Porsche. Every intervention has been carried out sympathetically, strictly preserving its highly desirable, survivor-grade condition.

In August 2025, Jaz Porsche performed a comprehensive mechanical service. This included a complete overhaul of the fuel system with a brand-new fuel tank, pump, and lines. The carburettors were meticulously cleaned, set up, and balanced, and the car was given a thorough inspection—receiving a flawless bill of health before entering winter storage. Additional recent maintenance includes the installation of twin Exide batteries in August 2024 and a fresh set of period-correct Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tyres in August 2025.

Throughout its time in the UK, the car has been kept in a professional, dehumidified storage facility. This preservation-first approach ensures that its original paint, interior, and structural integrity remain perfectly safeguarded, offering the next owner a mechanically turnkey classic with irreplaceable factory originality.

Engine & Drivetrain
The engine remains to original factory specification, requiring only routine, specialist servicing thanks to its remarkably low mileage. Incredibly, the original exhaust, heat exchangers, chain tensioners, are all retained. Following a fresh gearbox oil change over the winter, the engine revs freely and delivers the famously eager, responsive performance characteristic of the classic 2. 2-litre “T” specification.

Suspension, Brakes & Wheels
The factory 6×15 Fuchs alloy wheels remain and carry the correct, matching date stamps. They are shod in period-correct Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tyres in August 2025 and remain in virtually as-new condition.

The the braking system delivers a reassuringly firm, confidence-inspiring pedal feel following a recent fluid change. On the road, the handling is pin-sharp and tightly composed, precisely reflecting the tight, low-mileage nature of this exceptional survivor.

Body, Paint & Trim
The chassis remains in excellent, highly original condition, showing absolutely no visible signs of corrosion. Reflecting its carefully preserved history, the factory glass, rubber seals, and brightwork are all original and beautifully maintained. Furthermore, all light units, headlight surrounds, and bumper horns remain in flawless, near-perfection—presenting in a remarkable “as-new” state.

While the exterior paintwork displays minor imperfections purely consistent with its age, it presents beautifully overall. The car exudes an unmistakable sense of undisturbed originality and a deeply cosseted, irreplaceable patina throughout.

Interior
Inside, the cabin is remarkably preserved. The headlining is entirely unmarked, showing only the light, honest discoloration of the factory-original glue at the transitional seams across the pillars. The highly desirable “salt and pepper” wool carpets remain in excellent, unworn condition throughout, while the factory seats are superb, showing no signs of modern wear or bolster sagging.

The dashboard presents beautifully, marred only by a single, minor hairline crack on the right-hand side of the instrument cluster bolster. Both door cards and trim panels are in pristine condition, with the notoriously fragile door storage bins remaining tight and completely free of play. True to its factory US-specification, this 2. 2-litre “T” retains its original static seatbelts; these can easily be updated to modern inertia-reel items for enhanced safety and daily convenience if the next owner prefers.

Summary
Having been meticulously maintained under its current ownership with regular, specialist servicing here at Jaz Porsche, this 911T represents a vanishingly rare opportunity. It stands as an exceptionally honest, low-mileage, and completely unrestored survivor. Combining stunning factory correctness with an irreplaceable, time-capsule quality, this vehicle is equally suited as a museum-grade reference piece, a serious concours contender, or simply a sublime, highly rewarding driver’s car for the open road.

The vehicle is UK registered, current private registration is not for sale with the car. Fully serviced, and ready to enjoy. Available to view by appointment here at Jaz Porsche.
