The Appeal
When it was introduced in 1982, the Citroën BX was a trailblazer. These cars may not be the most common sight on the road, but don’t let that fool you - the eager public bought up over two million of these advanced, angular cars over their two body styles with ardour. With its signature self-levelling suspension, disc brakes and plastic body panels, the car was innovative, angular and surprisingly performance-focused straight out of the gate.
This excellent example has only had one previous owner, who kept the car for some twenty-seven years until his passing. This owner has cossetted the car remarkably well - so it’s now named in his honour. George, the Citroën BX, may well be one of the best examples of this car on the market.
