Stunning 1961 Rover 80 P4 Saloon Manual with Overdrive. Outstanding in factory black with red leather upholstery this is one of the best P4's we have had the pleasure of offering for sale. The Rover comes complete with its original buff log book showing that the car was first registered on 10th November 1961 in Leicester and supplied to Mr Lionel Truss from Ashby De La Zouch and still retains its original registration number. The current mileage some 56 years later is incredibly just 38, 000 and this can be backed up by the history file containing MoT's and workshop invoices dating back to June 1962 and its first service at 965 miles. The current owner has himself owned this car for 23 years and no expense has been spared in the upkeep of this beautiful car. Driving just as well as it looks the engine is very strong and the gearbox smooth with operating overdrive, in fact on tick over the 2. 3 engine is almost silent. The condition speaks for itself and this Rover is once again ready to be enjoyed by its new keepers. This is a rare opportunity to acquire what must be one of the nicest P4's available today and would grace any collection. You will not be disappointed with this wonderful classic and viewing is highly recommended. Remarkable in both condition and history, this is a vehicle that any enthusiast would be very proud to own.
