In mostly original condition, this is my own bike that I ride regularly. I changed the clutch discs, brakes, fork seals, cables, speedo (for a 1966 model, which is the same but different face), tires and rebuilt the original 6v dynamo, voltage regulator and original Linkert carb. The bike runs great, doesn't smoke. Kick only and manual spark advance. Original handlebars with twist wire throttle cable running through the bars. Well tuned and easy to start. A really good running bike. Originally sold in France and has all paperwork in my name and is fully registered and insured. There were less than 2000 Sportsters (all models) manufactured in 1962, so not very many around. Price is 7900€ or sterling equivalent. Possible part trade for a bmw, guzzi, ducati or other interesting european make.
