Just 4, 300 miles from new. Frame No: RT 221, Engine No: AMA 2624. Believed to be one of fifty five built in 1956, it is a rare opportunity to purchase an original specification HT, unmodified with the exception of the dualseat.
Purchased new from Barton Motors, Bath, the first owner rode in local events before passing it on to a school friend who used it less frequently. On purchase, the present owner had the wheels re-spoked, the rims re-chromed and new tyres. He is a fastidious collector who has carefully stored it for many years turning the engine over regularly and using only leaded fuel. Recently recommissioned, the fork's internals have been renewed and a new chain fitted. An exact replica of the exhaust silencer has been specially made. The bike is in good running order and comes with the original buff log book and registration number. A new pair of rear spring/ damper units accompany the sale.
