It's covered the equivalent of only just under 11000 miles. It was a little smokey so we stripped and checked the top end; there was some minor scoring in the bore so we had it rebored and fitted new valve stem seals; this means that it needs to be run in. It really is in excellent all round condition and this model was voted one of the best bikes to come out of Japan back in the 1980's.
