Ex James Hunt Hesketh Dastle F3 race cars for sale
We are selling our two 1972 Hesketh Dastle F3 cars, both of which were driven by the late racing icon and world champion James Hunt.
Car 001 was driven by Formula One World Champion James Hunt & Bubbles Horsley of The Hesketh Racing Team which was funded by Lord Hesketh.
This iconic vehicle has been fully restored using the best components and finishes (nickel plated) and has been invited to many events including the GP Ball. - details above
It has an illustrious race history including Brands Hatch, Silverstone and of course Monaco.
The cars will come with a large quantity of spares, body panels, slick and wet tires, and wheels.
Car 002 requires final finishing and has a freshly rebuilt Lotus engine, new Hewland gearbox, and virtually all parts to complete right down to race quality nuts and bolts.
The car was also driven by James Hunt ‘the shunt’, and still sports the physical wear of his famous race at Brands hatch in 1972. It would be perfect for next season either racing or hill climbing and would also make a stunning display. Was featured at the 2017 Hurlingham Club GP Ball. Located in Surrey.
