1942 Military Harley Davidson XA. Older restoration in Very Good condition. Has been part of my collection for 10 years. 750cc side valve boxer twin. 4 speed foot change gears, hand clutch, shaft driven. Runs well and nice to ride.
History - Made for US government copied from BMW R12 for use in WW2. Only 1100 made for possible replacement for WLA model. XA model was sent out for appraisal and performed very well, however this was at the same time as the jeep was introduced. The XA never went into full production making it a very interesting exhibit.
