This is a pure and simple classic BMW, great to drive and makes for a great starter classic project without breaking the bank and wears the last 32 years of careful use very well indeed.
The 2. 7 straight 6 is a pleasure to use with ample power and torque to get you where you need to be without fuss and isn't without the signature BMW straight 6 soundtrack from the moment you turn the key.
Totally unmolested with only 4 previous owners having the pleasure of its use in the last 32 years. There is also no enlarged wheels or stiffened and lowered suspension which many have been subject to, this is an original blank canvas for the new owner to enjoy.

These don't come up very often in a good usable condition with some history and stamped service book, some dating back to 1985 from BMW at 7463 miles and significant work completed in last 2 years or so which include:-
Repair to exhaust manifold and downpipe.
Front anti roll bar link dust covers.
Cambelt change.
Replacement of steering idler arm.
Front lower arm bushes.
Replace N/ S/ F lower ball joint cover.
Both rear inner driveshaft gaitors.
Both rear subframe bushes.
Replacement of park brake shoes.
Repair to O/ S/ F jacking point area.
Repair to both rear inner sills.
Replace radiator and water pump and flush system.
Replace both temperature senders.
Just the above totalled over £2, 500.
Current mileage at 116362 and MOT expired 12/ 7/ 18, some work will be required to pass the MOT
Great classic car investment
Couple of defects to mention are the paintwork is old and tired particularly on the roof, bonnet and boot lid and a little rust here and there, however its presentable as you can see from the pictures, the temperature gauge and the dash is intermittent, at present its ok, but is an easy fix with a bit of time and dedication.
Unfortunately with a young family I can't dedicate the time this car deserves, it's time it found a new custodian.
