This Soft-Tail Fatboy was delivered new to West Coast Harley Davidson, Glasgow in March 2002. The motorcycle subsequently passed through 2 owners and was acquired by its current owner in November 2008 at a mileage of 7, 000.
The owner set about transforming the look of the Harley and it was sent to P&D Custom Bikes not long after acquisition. The wheel arches were re-designed to fit the new, larger spoked wheels, and all bodywork was stripped to bare metal in preparation for full colour change to Black & Maroon. Hand pinstriping and painting was carried out by Keith Baker at Classic Cycleworks as well as the fantastic turned gold-leaf “Harley Davidson” tank script. A new “Screamin’ Eagle” twin exhaust was fitted; along with a new air-filter and spring-mounted leather saddle with removable rear seat.
Today, the motorcycle has only covered 8, 500 miles from new and has travelled less than 100 miles in the last 7 years. The correct maintenance has always been carried out and therefore the carburetted 1450cc twin-cam engine runs perfectly and the bike is a joy to ride.
