Description

Luigi, a cute little 595.
595 Abarth Replica, ‘Tribute’, ‘Recreation’
Originally a 1973 Fiat 500 595R
This little Bundle of Fun is a Left Hand Drive Italian car.
It started life as a 500 R that came standard with the 594cc engine.
It’s in the classic 595 metallic blue, very similar to the launch colour of the new 595.
A father built this little car for his son, the storey is he spent many years collecting 595 parts from car shows and auto jumbles in Italy.
He set about to build Luigi, this cute little 595.
‘Questo bellissimo carino piccolo veloce 595’

To source the parts to build this car cost silly money.

So, for you to get one like this, you would literally have to get a original, strip it, get a donor 500 R in the same metalic Blue. Then rebuild it. But why would you when you can buy this one?

Even with the typical Whale tail, only in the imagination of a 10 year old boy, living in the head of a 17 year old lad. It does look great too.

This little car is ready to drive and have fun.

Since I’ve owned it, I’ve maintained it and had great fun driving it. It really does turn heads and make people smile.

I had it MOT’d , the year before it became exempt.
The following year I’ve overhaled the front brakes. Pads and Cylinders, bled and replaced new fluid.
Fitted a new Abarth Alloy Rocker cover. Looks great.
New Abarth Engine spring. Stiffer
Condenser.
New roof.
HT Leads
Distributer Cap
Wheel Nuts

This is a appreciating asset, that make you and everyone smile when you wheel it out.
I have various paperwork and parts receipts , all will come with the car.

I valued it on the Hagerty web, i was shocked at the value.
An excellent condition 1973 595 R values at £10800
An excellent condition 1971 595 Abarth values at £40, 000
So I feel my price is fair to whoever wants it.
For the age, 46 years of age. Id say its in excellent condition.
It would cost twice the price to buy the Abarth parts and donor car, then build it for the sale price.
And you can’t even get the Abarth Parts anymore! Unless you pay lots of money..
Luigi arrived on English shores back in 2008, he lived with the Son of the Chap who built him, i then took delivery in 2015.
I don’t have enough time for the little chap and feel he needs more love.
This is still a very rare little car.
I have many more phots, feel free to email me.
NB, not sure re mileage.
