Beschreibung
This Datsun 240Z is a June 1972 built Series 3 car, finished in Black with a Black upholstery on diamond stitched vinyl trim, 15” Rota wheels in Gun Metal with a polished lip on 215-section tyres.
Very original and numbers-matching throughout, the car features its original L24 series 2. 4 litre 6-cylinder engine, rebuilt and upgraded less than 1, 000 miles ago by a California based specialist with new ancillaries such as the starter motor, alternator and more with the carburettors being rebuilt at the same time. We have rolling road tested and tuned this car at 167 horsepower – a very significant increase over standard. The gearbox is the cars original 4-speed manual and the gearbox is the original R180 type.
This car has a purposeful aesthetic, adorned by many rare period original and aftermarket features, most notably the original and rare Nissan Japanese domestic market only brightwork rimmed headlamp covers as well as a Nissan original accessory rear window sun shade, side mouldings, BRE style front air dam and more.
We have fitted new Tokico dampers all around and replaced all front suspension bushes with polybushes in November 2018 and the car rides on standard 240Z springs.
Imported to the UK in 2015 from California as an excellent dry climate car. Supplied fitted with good paper history, original and spare keys, spare paint, original tool kit including original jack, Nissan jack handle bag, Nissan wheel chocks and tow eye.
