Unleaded petrol, drives beautifully with a new MOT (no advisories) great oil pressure and all controls work as expected. Purchased from the well-respected marque specialist Steve Redfern Motor Co Wimbledon. During the first 10 years of my ownership the car was being refurbished, mainly by Steve Redfern, with Steve personally rebuilding the engine and gearbox, but also with some work by Blue Star Auto Services of Billingham. The rebuild was finally completed by Steve on the 28th November 2001, when the car was serviced with a new MOT at 247 miles, serviced subsequently at 3441, 6035 and 9353. In 2017, I had a total body restoration by a Mercedes specialist with amongst other things, replacement floor pans, sills and bulkhead, a new interior, including seat renovation and re-trimming in black leather, Zebrano wood and new carpets throughout, plus a full respray in anthracite grey. The heated hardtop has new chromes and a complete set of new genuine Mercedes door and window seals. The car also comes with a full Mercedes 107 tool kit, first aid kit and emergency triangle, a hardtop stand is also included. All work has been documented with photos and invoices totalling in excess of £30000. For serious buyers, the car can be viewed in Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington.
