Description
I bought this lovely Rover 400 earlier in the year off an elderly gentleman who had given up driving. I intended it to be my first car, however, as I soon discovered, it is too costly to insure at 17 years old! We decided to keep the car for the summer, with it taking the family to Cornwall and Yorkshire in perfect comfort, but I now have to reluctantly sell it. The previous owner took it back to the main dealer for a regular service until he hung up his keys last year. It had a new battery in April and has MOT until May 2020 - the MOT tester remarked in what good condition the car was in, when it went for a test. All the electric windows work, the electric sunroof works, and it drives superbly, with a silky, smooth factory fitted Honda engine. If I’m being fussy, there are a few things to mention! As with most 21 year old vehicles, it does have a couple of marks on the bodywork, which I tried to show in the photos, however they are barely noticeable! The LCD clock screen is also missing pixels, and the radio code is missing - apart from that, it is a fantastic example of a Rover 400!
