This BMW started life as a standard touring bike, the Mystic R100R. It was in excellent condition and had been fully serviced.
This 1994 bike was bought with 24, 000 miles on the clock in 2014. Since then it has been rebuilt as a custom 'Bobber'
The seat, shock absorber, mirrors, mudguards, exhaust, rear light and number plate mounting have all been custom-made, while the bike has a Monza fuel filler cap, and a Japanese Daytona headlight and speedometer. the state of the art LED indicators and electronics have been incorporated in the design.
To complete the look, the bike has had a complete respray in black with carbon badges.
The carburettors and heads have been rebuilt, and the bike is fitted with an Odyssey race battery with custom-made lightweight carrier.
The bike is in excellent condition in every department, having been professionally built by ex-John Surtees and Mike Hailwood mechanic for his own use and has covered less than 60 miles since the customisation. The bike has had no modifications that cannot be reversed and the bike can be returned to standard specification if required. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the bike is now for sale.
The bike comes with a new 12 month MOT and has benefited from a recent fluid change. The bike comes with a large file of invoices and a workshop manual.
The private number plate is not offered as part of this sale but can be negotiated separately if required.
