For sale here is a 1964 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 Phase 1 car. Finished in Metallic Blue (not exactly Healey Blue) with Navy blue leather interior. Ex US car that was brought over and converted to right hand drive. Very solid car, underneath the chassis shows very well with no apparent horrible welded patches. Gaps on the doors, cills etc are all excellent. Engine, gearbox, drive train all superb, overdrive on 3rd and 4th.
The engine was completely rebuilt, bored, ground new rings etc and was then fitted with a stage 3 head. An all Alloy sump was also installed, a larger core radiator is also fitted with the addition of an electronic Rev Tech fan so even in today's traffic jams it shouldn't pose any overheating problems. A high torque starter motor is also part of the mechanical updates.
The suspension has also been rebuilt and the car is fitted with a complete stainless steel Tourist Trophy exhaust, (sounds fantastic).
Even though not required the car will come with a fresh 12 month MoT.
