Beschreibung
One of only 200 manufactured worldwide, the F1 Laguna Seca is a hand-built limited edition race replica launched to commemorate Marco Luchinelli’s BOTT Daytona victory in 1986. His signature is featured on the fuel tank. The Laguna Seca had a significantly uprated motor over the standard F1, with racing camshafts, bigger valves and 40mm Dell’Orto carbs as well as a vented dry clutch, Verlicchi aluminium swingarm and less restrictive exhaust. Bought from JHP Ducati Coventry, and last serviced by them, this bike was previously restored by marque specialists Baines Racing, Silverstone at a cost of £6k. The bike is currently part of a collection, is in mint condition and includes a big history file as well as the original owners manual, also a Luchinelli-signed photo of the bike. It is currently fitted with Ducati 900SS wheels to allow for modern tyres. The original Oscam wheels are included in the sale, and will be fitted pre-sale, with original rear hugger, if preferred. The motor starts first time and the bike is still ridden occasionally (in dry weather) to keep it running as it should.
