Recent purchase but not to my taste.
1989 Volvo 760 Turbo automatic, with B230ET engine, which means 182hp.
Engine and gearbox sound fine, possibly a heat shield rattle when idling. Car drives well and handles well, nothing to suggest anything is wrong with it. Interior is near immaculate, no cracked plastics or ripped seats. Very comfortable. Odometer and all dials work accurately for their age.
Rust limited to one small piece on the edge of the rear arch. Has loadbay liner and seven seats!
There are some electrical niggles, the headlining and hardboard have been removed but the latter is with the car. Decent service history but cambelt now overdue by age. Bonnet struts weak. MOT expires end of February, nothing seems untoward but I'm not an MOT tester. Seems to let in some water by rear door seal, probably shrunken due to age.
Very open to swaps of equal value or a straight sale. Had wanted to love this but just can't. Better off with someone who can.
Car has towbar fitted, but this has not been tested.
I bought this car very recently from this website but as mentioned, I just can't seem to fall in love with it.
Ready to drive away.
