1985: Alfa Romeo celebrated its 75th anniversary and, in that year, the Alfa 75 was unveiled, becoming a celebration of the historical achievements and success of the factory. The Alfa 75 was designed by the Italian architect and designer Ermanno Cressoni, who was a member of the centro stile Alfa Romeo at that time. Cressoni is also (and not only) known for revolutionizing the Alfa Romeo style, since he is the author of the typical wedge shape which characterizes Alfa Romeo cars since the Cressoni’s 1977 Giulietta. Cressoni also invented the futuristic U-shaped hand brake, which can befound on the Alfa 75.
