This saloon with its folding roof was delivered to Zurich on the 21st December 1936 and registered in 1937. A classic certificate from BMW accompanies the car. The cars history during the war is not known, but since 1946 the BMW has had only three owners until it was bought by the vendor in 2013. Over the years the BMW has been restored with the original black paint changed to a two-tone black with red. There are maintenance records starting in 1999 for maintenance and restoration work totaling 65’000 Swiss Francs. Among other things, the instruments, the brakes, the shock absorbers, radiator and carburetor were overhauled and the interior and the folding roof were replaced. This lovely saloon now is in very good condition with the most recent Swiss veteran MOT completed in May 2013.
Asking price: CHF 75'000
