The launch cars were, of course, delivered and registered prior to the normal time in September, hence this is one of the few registered on an '08 plate, although as an '09 Gen II model. Often, launch models had an unusual specification, as does this 997. The options would have added a small fortune to the original list and they certainly add appeal now.
Ultra rare and expensive was the air-conditioned ventilated and heated seats, plus it has dark blue full leather with silver stitching extending to the front and rear seats, dashboard and door panels. The Porsche crest is embossed into the headrests.
Also we have PCM 3 with navigation and telephone modules, 6 disc CD auto changer, universal audio interface (iPod connection etc) and BOSE surround sound system.
Rear ParkAssist, Bi-Xenon headlights with headlamp wash, LED daytime running lights. LED rear lights and automatic climate control.
The steering wheel has been updated to a later version with the PDK paddles for manual shifting.
Arctic silver metallic with a Metropole (dark) blue hood, gorgeous 19" Carrera Classic alloys and full colour Porsche crest centre caps.
The exhaust and tailpipes have been upgraded to a DesignTek stainless steel sports version giving the 3. 6 a great note, even better when the roof is down!

Maintenance history has 6 stamps in the service book. It benefits from a major service with spark plugs in July 2018, plus receiving brake discs and pads both front and rear. In July 2019, a minor service and the front dampers were replaced followed by a full wheel alignment.
This is a really classy looking 911 with the benefit of the Gen II updates (revised styling both outside and in), double clutch 7 speed PDK transmission and an extra 20 bhp over the Gen I thanks to the new DFI (direct fuel injection) motor.
