Brand new 2020 Porsche 550 Spyder Recreation
This is an extraordinary modernised tribute to the 1950's Porsche 550 Spyder. This is an extraordinary brand new motor vehicle in that it perfectly replicates the £3million pound vehicle made famous by the 1950's Hollywood star James Dean, a motor vehicle that is brand new, correctly registered as a 2020 Porsche Spyder and one that is ready to drive away.
1. Brand New
Having completed just five test miles since being built and registered this year (2020 reg), this is a brand new vehicle.
2. Identically Replicating the £3 Million Porsche 550
Being a modern tribute to the1950's Porsche 550 made famous by James Dean and of which one recently sold for £3million pounds at auction, she is dimensionally perfect and looks extraordinary.
3. Built to the Highest Standard

4. IVA Test Passed
Having been built to an exceptional standard this vehicle has passed an IVA test. Passing an IVA test proves that a vehicle’s build quality meets the high standards of safety and quality set for modern vehicles. No other Porsche 550 advertised online right now have passed an IVA test because it is so difficult to reach that standard. Having passed the IVA test the following is true of this vehicle:
A. Built to the Highest Standard of Safety & Quality
Having passed the IVA test, you can be assured that she is built to the high modern quality and safety standards for vehicle production. Those two other 550's advertised online have not passed an IVA test because they have not been built to the high and expensive quality standard required.
B. Road Legal
Having passed the IVA test she can legally be driven on UK roads. Those two other 550's advertised online have not passed an IVA test and accordingly cannot be driven on the UK roads legally.
C. Correctly Registered as a Porsche Spyder
Having passed the IVA, she is correctly registered as a Porsche Spyder. The other two 550's online which have not passed an IVA test and accordingly are still registered as Skoda's.
Accordingly, if you want a 550 that is built to the highest standard, one that you can actually legally drive in the UK and one that is registered as a Porsche and not a Skoda, this is the 550 for you.
5. Donor Vehicle
Whilst she is now simply registered as a 2020 Porsche Spyder that has been rebuilt with an SVA, she actually uses the reliable mechanics of a 1989 Skoda Rapid and a Banham 550 body shell.
6. History
Coming with a photo album documenting the build, the build itself has taken over ten years.
7. Priced for the Quick Sale.
Wishing for a very quick sale, we have advertised her at £18995. There are two other 550’s for sale online right now; one at £28, 995 and the other at £24, 995. The 550 at £28, 995 is with a Porsche Specialist and I actually used to own this car and I would suggest that it is nowhere near as nice as the one I am offering, not even close. The 550 at £24, 995 my friend used to own and again hasn’t got a patch on this one.

Delivery
We can deliver this vehicle anywhere in the UK or to the docks for you whilst ensuring social distancing requirements are upheld. This would be akin to Amazon or Royal Mail deliveries. All we require is a non-refundable deposit of £300 and the delivery fee up-front. The delivery fee is £1. 30 per mile, with the distance measured one way from Sheffield city centre.
