i brought this over 8 years ago, i have only done a few hundred miles in that time, i have spent around 2k in my ownership though included many new brake system parts.
no cracks in the dash! There is as little whole in drivers seat! Since photo i have cleaned and waxed the leather its nice!
there is a some very rare original wing trims on this bet none of the others for sale right now still have these :-)
i brought this from someone at the bournemouth university where the engine had been stripped and rebuilt apparently! Looking at the engine now and back then you can see it was well sorted and looked after. The car was sold to me after they had finished with it and student graduated.
i have changed the interior which is to a good standard. I brought 4 spare wheels (hence there near mint) and whacked on a set of dunlop tyres.
honestly i am a mug to sell this, cost me 4 grand! In storage in 8 years, it did come out a few times but this is the reason there is not much mot history on line. I have all the old mots from before i had it adding up the low miles nicely its just over 87k!!! there has been only 5 previous owner not to bad for this type of car.
never welded! Mostly original except the fitting of the original mtech 1 front and rear lower bumper mouldings and spoiler. I have a pair of matching but after market side skirts but being a convertible with its low sill it don't really need them. There where £250 there included! Note if you want mint you will need to spend a few hundred on paint etc but its a very worthy cause!
bad: Fog light not working, no rear speaker fitted but have some spares, boot lid bad spray (my brothers fault), back window misted. Central locking not working its an easy fix if you can find the part.. rest is what you can expect from a classic old bmw but better ;-)
walked its mot no advisories just the other day! Honestly i will not sell this cheap i will just keep storing it ;-) i am after a porsche something to use every day!
bare in mind its old, comes with many spare parts a few which are needed like the spark plug plastic rail thing.
i am only sellingt to a good home, garage owners, middle aged buyers please :-)
