New rear discs, n/ s rear brake caliper, fuel pump and fuel filter. Windscreen, front brake service kits, tyres, cambelt change , oil change and engine flush, air, oil and fuel filters. Sill repair rear o/ s.
A fairly rapid and comfortable 2 +2 coupe . It is a 5 speed manual with electric windows, mirrors and sunroof. They all worked from initial start up! The engine started first time after 10 years in storage. The bodywork is good but there are a few blemishes not evident in the photographs or from a short distance.
The Mot emissions are.
Fast idle- CO limit< 0. 2% actual 0. 03%
HC limit < 200ppm actual 12ppm
Nat idle- CO limit < 0. 3% actual 0. 00%.
It seems a very clean engine.
It has good Clarion radio/ cassette system and central locking. As a Ford / Mazda jointly produced car the spares are not exotic.
The boot spoiler is now fitted.
A rapid, agile and comfortable coupe. It revs very freely and above 3000 revs you can make rapid progress.
I have done 1300 miles in shake down trials after the renovation. This include 4 hours at motorway speeds. It is also great fun on the A Roads, with lots of overtaking ability.
A great rolling project.
