how rare is this? a complete morini 350 drum-brake sport for light cosmetic restoration
not been run for many years. selects gears and decent compression
an easy project:
wheels have already been rebuilt with stainless spokes, correct borrani flanged rims, good tyres
carbs recently overhauled, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt with new floats/ parts. Receipts for same
new set of good quality repro rubber parts (manifolds, footpegs etc) bagged and ready to go on.
original 1974 snuffbox light switch intact, and in place.
ricky-racer 2-1 exhaust plus correct first-generation 350 sport heat-shield. genuine exhausts are readily available from italy and stainless repros from keihan and armours in the uk
leaky, loosening metal inlets have been dispensed with for later rubber inlet-mount upgrade
i have correct verlicchi headlamp brackets and the bike is otherwise complete, even down to original (unnecessary) steering damper
correct first-generation frame-number for year
bike has been well looked after over the years with no butchered fasteners. 18, 000 mileage may well be genuine.
bike comes with nova cert and age-related dating proof. dvla just need these, a v112 (mot exemption form), a v55 and a modest cheque, to uk-register it. my mole in the dvla tells me they are back at work and registering bikes now, post-covid
bike is in bath ba2 5dl. i can get it delivered to you or help with shipping
dry-stored but way too good to describe as a barn-find, this just wants to be put back to original paint-scheme and using. there cant be many like this left.
for very reluctant sale due to imminent house-move, and loss of space
you will know what these sell for in restored condition, so priced to give a good margin of 'worth' after clean-up costs.
