Description
This Cord was manufactured n 1936 and remained in the USA until 2008 when purchased by a Swedish collector and shipped to Sweden. This owner completely stripped the car for renovation. The body work was taken back to bare metal for a respray and the engine and gearbox were both stripped for rebuild. The engine being rebuilt by one of Sweden's top engineering firms. There is an accompanying folder with receipts for parts and work carried out over the 6 year period of rebuild.
I purchased it in 2016 and imported it to England. It was assigned an age related registration number by DVLA but I changed this to the more fitting private number, 253 COO.
Since purchasing it 4 years ago it has only been out for my daughter's wedding and a handful of other occasions . The mileage covered being less than 500 miles. It remains in stunningly beautiful condition.
With the car is also a comprehensive photographic record of the restoration, a file of receipts, service manual and owners manual.
The car is front wheel drive.
V8 side valve LYCOMING engine.
Four speed semi automatic gearbox.
All as original.
