This scirocco gtx is the rare 1988 model that was blessed with the colour coded body kit in stunning helios blue metallic paint and beautiful sport's seat's and upholstery also in 1988 the gtx came with the 14" le castalette alloy wheels these have been fully refurbished and diamond cut and are sat on matching firestone tyre's. The paint in my opinion is really good having had a quality respray not too long ago. At the time of the respray the roof was so good that the body shop never painted it so the roof paint is original. You really need to see this car to believe how good it looks. There are no dents, dings or scratches that I can see. Also fitted to the car are a new set of new old stock mud flaps correct for the car that look great. The interior too is in amazing condition for a 32 year old vehicle and apart from a small hole on the drivers seat bolster the interior is free of stains, rips, burns or nasty smells. The dash is in excellent condition and is still fitted with the original stereo, radio works fine but I have never tried the cassette player. The car is unusually fitted with electric windows and for some reason the passanger side doesn't work electrically but for convenience has had a winder fitted so can be manually operated. The roof lining is in very good order and fitted with a full sunroof which tilts but won't slide (probably an easy fix). Underneath the car all looks solid and original with no evidence of it ever having had any welding and still coated in the factory grey protective underseal. The service history for the car is the best that I have ever seen having had over 25 services all stamped 16 of which are main dealer and the rest are V. A. G specialist all backed up with a huge file of invoices and receipts in date order totaling over £7500 the most recent being 28/ 01/ 2020 where the cambelt and water pump were done. Also included are all the old mot certificates from 1992 to the present date. The car also has the full set of original key's and book PACK. This car is absolutely stunning and a testament to its previous owner with no expense spared. The car has no power steering or abs so is a proper 80, s drivers car (such fun).
