this motoleggera (small engine) was mondials masterpiece after taking the manufacturer to the world championships in 1957. in both the 125 cc and 250cc classes.
after this success mondial started production, specialising in high performance small displacment road motorcycles, and this machine is that deravatiave. Of those winners
each machine hand made to exacting mechanical and cosmetic standards as shown in this example.
in 1957 soichiro honda approached mondial owner count boselli and he gave him a 125cc bike hond used it as a standard to which he aspired and still now is on display wt honda's motegi collection hall
