Beschreibung
We are pleased to offer this very early MGA Coupe in the desirable colour combination of Old English White with a red leather interior.
Chassis 239159 left the factory in late 1956 making it an early example as the first Coupe was built in September of that year, although it was not actually registered until 1960 in Newport. It is a matching numbers car with its original registration.
An older restoration, the MG is still in excellent order and presents very well indeed.
The wheels have been recently refurbished and brand new tyres fitted.
The interior is in first class condition with smart red leather seats, MG rubber fitted mats on the floor and an excellent headlining. All the instruments work.
The engine bay is very well presented as is the motor itself.
On the road the car is a joy to drive with a responsive engine, excellent gearbox and brakes. Seatbelts have been fitted.
There is a history file with the car which included a buff log book, V5C, MoT history, Driver’s Handbook and a quantity of invoices going back to 2005 showing the car has been very well cared for in recent years.
With Coupe prices having risen significantly this pretty UK owned from new example is attractively priced and ready to enjoy.
We will happily consider an interesting vehicle in part exchange.
