I restored this CSTL from the ground up - no costs spared - about 20 years ago and only rode her a few dozen times, just to keep her in good condition.
The time has come for a new owner so I am offering this little beauty for sale.
I acquired two MV singles from this era in a trade 25 years ago. The bikes were in boxes but complete so I started restoring both bikes simultaneously. The idea was to sell one and keep the other. The 175 I kept because it was a better ride than the other one, a 125trel, which was nothing more than a moped, to be honest.
Only original MV parts were used during the restoration - thanks to the MV-club in the UK.
The CSTL (overhead cam) has the best version of this engine - also used in the Disco Volante, and is pokey enough for 90kph although a more docile 60-70 is the sweet speed for this beautiful machine.
I chose the colour scheme used for the "Centomila" edition - however I don't know if this actually was one - in fact there were so many versions of these mono-cylinders in the day, not even Colombo knew exactly.
Should anyone be interested, I have a complete, rebuilt spare engine for this bike which can be sold separately or together with this bike.
Furthermore: the bike is located and registered in NL but I can provide export registration and assist with any shipping/ handling/ crating if needed.
