An excellent 1990 Peugeot 205 1. 6 GTi in particularly good original condition which has been well maintained and sympathetically updated by the current owner. It benefits from an MOT until February 2022. This car was purchased in 2017 having been dry stored by the previous owner since 2002. Prior to the sale the previous owner undertook a full service of the brake system including new callipers and hoses. Wheel bearings, drive shaft boots, bushes and coolant hoses were overhauled and/ or replaced and the cam belt changed. During the last three years the ignition system has been completely overhauled – distributor rebuilt; new ignition leads and ignition module; new ignition coil and plugs and new vacuum pipes. The airflow meter has been remanufactured by specialist ATP Electronic Developments. A new starter motor has been fitted and a brand-new Bosch battery installed. The exhaust manifold and the exhaust system have been replaced. Front sway bar bushes and links have been replaced and new rear shock absorbers installed. The car is fitted with the correct original alloy wheels that have been refurbished to factory standard with diamond-cut centres and fitted with new Michelin tyres. Both front seats have been fitted with new bolsters all round and retrimmed and are as new. The car has had six previous owners but just two since 1999. There is mileage history verified with MOTs from 1998 to 2002 and from 2017 to 2021.
