100% original unrestored and very good condition 350 ERS.
Circa 1969/ 1970 350 ERS desert racer, full race engine, same spec as roadrace Ala Doro with 30 MM DelOrto SS1 carb and remote float, Magneto ignition, L1 cam, open, short and loud megaphone,
Chassis has a lightweight frame, Ceriani 35 mm forks and rear shocks, lightweight brakes, fully floating at rear.
These bikes were sold for competition use only, very successful in off road endurance/ cross country type events as light and very fast.
All original race orange and black factory paint.
I found this rare untouched, never sold, ERS in a dealership in Kansas on display over 30 years ago and brought it back.
They had run it in some local events and then put in the back of their workshop under a cover and forgotten about it until I stumbled across it whilst killing time on a business trip.
I have run it occasionally, it is sitting in my heated garage.
These are super rare, I have not seen another one in the UK.
I was planning to run it on the road, I was thinking of putting the race engine on the shelf and fitting a road 350 engine with milder cams, generator for lights, horn etc. and Del Orto VHB series carb and of course an exhaust with some silencing which would be more user friendly!
This road engine could also still be available if that is your plan.
I have just cleaned and lined the tank with Por-15 sealer, fitted replacement correct type fuel taps and new fuel lines and set the float fuel level height
Would make a great street scrambler!
